1.3 oz. Lemongrass

This herb is incredibly close to our hearts, Lemongrass has been used for centuries in Asia. In India, it is also called fever grass because of its inherent properties as a fever reducer. Growing up in India, I have fond childhood memories of my mother's lemongrass plants sown around our property. Our yard had a lovely lemony fragrance and #bonus; it would keep the mosquitoes at bay.

Stray cats and dogs would often eat our Lemongrass to aid digestion and stomach ailments, and if ever my brother or I were to get sick, we would have a fresh supply of fresh lemongrass kadha served to us. I'm trying to bring some of that warm home remedy to you.

This multifaceted herb aids in digestion, promotes heart health, may help regulate blood pressure, may help in boosting metabolism, may improve skin health, and promote healthy hair.

It is a great source of Vitamin A and C, has antibacterial and antifungal properties, may help reduce menstrual pain and provide relief from hot flashes. It is full of antioxidants and helps in ridding the body of toxins and relieving fluid retention.
