Colorful String Lights Earrings (The Rangeen String Lights)

Growing up Indian- American in a Hindu household my neighbors always thought my family and I were very spirited about the Holidays. Now, we do love Christmas and do celebrate it, but we weren't THAT into the holiday season.

Because my family is Hindu, like many other Hindu/Buddhist/Sikh/Jain families, we put up lights for Diwali in early October. And for us, those lights stay up until New Years (because really who is going to take them down for a few fews to put them back up again). We have so many twinkle lights in a variety of colors from over the years which we use to light up the outside of our home because 'tis the season.

Every year, one of the most iconic lights is a rainbow multicolor strand with large bulbs which we string on our tree outside and it adds the perfect pop of festive color. This year, nothing seemed more fitting this season as we transition from Diwali to Christmas other than colorful string lights!
