Kerala: Malabar

The Malabar are the last and simply not the least of Rangeen Summer 22 collection. Inspired by the coastal state of Kerala, the Malabar a simple, beachy and fun! The cowrie shells on these earrings are commonly found in the Indian ocean, especially along the Malabar coast of Kerala.

Since ancient times the cowrie shell has been used a medium in fashion, monetary exchange and ceremonious practices. What better way to celebraye Kerala tthan the nature founs there itself!

Each of these shells have been hand drilled and wired to create these bold summer earrings and as usual, they're extremely light weight from the clay Though a perfect summer color, they can easily be transitioned into spring and fall as well!
